Caroline Burgess has a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Coop) from the University of Waterloo and a Masters in Mathematics Education
from the University of Texas. As an engineer, she has worked in industrial, government and research environments. As an educator,
she has taught math and science at the elementary, secondary and college levels in both Canada and the United States. Prior to
developing her own private consulting business, Caroline held the position of Outreach Coordinator for the departments of Chemistry
& Chemical Biology, Mathematics & Statistics and Physics & Astronomy at McMaster University for eight years. In her present role, she
advises high school students, university students and post graduates on the right preparation and critical career development
